Limit Anxiety
Let's put ANXIETY in its place. Eliminate the anxiety of day-to-day activities by creating a list that is prioritized with time estimates. The list should include:
- Work/class schedule
- Assignments
- Extra-curricular activities and hobbies
- Household chores and family responsibilities
Stop anxiety from hindering your ability to complete an assignment. Overcome anxiety by:
- Visualizing success
- Preparing properly and breaking your task into small manageable parts
- Practicing deep breathing, prayer, or meditation when starting to feel stressed
Outdo anxiety by taking care of and believing in yourself (POPO: Positive Outlook = Positive Outcome). Treat yourself right by:
- Getting enough rest
- Making healthy food choices
- Doing something fun and relaxing
